A LIFE OF GROWTH, WITHOUT FEAR OF FAILURE

This is my true story of coming to know that God is real, of having my life rebuilt with God as the foundation.
My testimony started during a difficult time in my life when my marriage failed. I thought what I had built up in my life, my work, my family and my marriage was solid, and that’s where I placed my foundation. Then, in one day everything I had pride in was taken away when my marriage failed.
Someone spoke to me about God and how we should build our life with Him as the foundation. I never knew God was real – I hoped, and sometimes I prayed about things, but that was as far as it went.
I was shown in the scriptures that if I was to repent and be baptised by full immersion, I could receive the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues. And that’s exactly what happened when I was baptised.
It’s been more than 10 years now since I made a commitment to God, and my life continues to grow and get better and better. With God as my foundation my fears of failure have been washed away and I thank God He proved He was there to me. My life is now truley a life rebuilt by God.
